Tinker Bell

When I feel
completely unfabulous
my mind travels
to where I wish
I could be

I wish I could
wear a green dress
and fluffy shoes
carry a
magic wand
and have wings

I wish I could soar
for miles
and miles
and miles
in bright sparkly pixie dust

I wish I could
fly to Neverland
and see the mermaids
fight pirates
and live in
a secret hideout.

When I think
such thoughts
or dream
such dreams
of flying
and having pixie dust,
it brings me back
to my real life
with no
magic wand
green dress
fluffy shoes
wings
or pixie dust
the only thing this does
for me
is that
I feel a lot taller than
I really am.
